Mobile Structures Experience
Engineering has assembled a design team with a vast amount of mobile hangar expeience. This Team has been designing
and building mobile hangar structures for over twenty years.
The Team has developed
and refined the design of the structures, the methods of construction, the wheels/drives/motors, the anchorage system, and
the moving procedures.
Donald R. Moore, President of Demor Engineering LLC, is a licensed Professional
Engineer. In 1987 he traveled to Australia to co-design, with Strarch Buildings, the first Mobile Tail Enclosure
(MTE). Since that time, the Team has built numerous
MTE’s for wide-body aircraft, for narrow-body aircraft, and for C-5 aircraft.
A Design Excellence Award was given by the Air Force for the C-5 MTE’s that were provided at Robins Air Force Base.
1998 the Team designed the first Bi-Parting Empennage Enclosures (BPEE). Since that time, the Team has
built numerous BPEE’s for single C-130 aircraft, for side-by-side P-3 aircraft, and for side-by-side
total, the Team has designed and constructed nearly fifty aircraft hangar structures of various design, sizes, and configurations.
